Hey y'all

I have a 1953 Epiphone Devon and am hot on the trail of another one. They're not easy to find but, all of a sudden, I found three of them for sale just yesterday. Yippee!

I inherited mine from my dad. I learned to play on this guitar when I was 11--"House of the Rising Sun". He got it as a birthday present when he turned 16. My grandparents paid $25 for the guitar at a pawnshop is Odessa, TX. I have a school picture of him holding it.

Since then I've acquired an Epi FT165--1979-ish or so model with a really sweet, broad sound; a Yamaha classical guitar--1972--my first guitar, actually, since Dad wouldn't let me have his back then ; a 2005 Ibanez acoustic-electric and a 2006 Aria electric hollowbody (love the hollowbody tone) that I bought just to rattle the windows and make the daughter mad. I know I've done it right when she yells "turn it down!".
