nope, these guitars are beyond repair. the spirit of music has already left them.
the strings and tuning pegs, too. some of them have so much duct tape on them, that it's almost like throwing duct tape instead of a guitar. the main emphasis is placed on getting donations for the Animal Humane Society through fees collected for throwing the guitars.
the store is located just down the road from a local TV station. a few years ago the story was picked up and went around the world. it's become a pretty big deal and the owner looks forward to it every year.
