Hey Sandbox, I've got a couple of Epi Les Pauls.....

but only one of them has different pickups. They were already in the guitar when I aquired it used. The neck pup is a Gibson reissue of a PAF and the bridge pup is a Duncan "Dirty Fingers" humbucker. The "DF" is really a hot pickup and sounds great but that's not what makes my Epi Les Pauls great sounding in my opinion.

I've mostly been a Fender player all of my life so I've always been used to just one volume knob. I have 2 Epi LP's, an old Gibson LP, a Sheraton, & an Ibanez Artist all rewired so that the top volume and tone knobs are masters. The old bottom knobs are still on the guitars so they look stock but they're now pull pots activating a phase switch and a coil tap which really brings new sounds to a Les Paul style guitar.........JH in Va.
