Hope youre feeling better Tony!!!

Ya...I sent the amp back on Thursday. It makes the fizzy/hiss noise on all channels (amp sims) as well as the clean channel and to me, that is one channel that should be dead quiet. Every amp I own is quiet so it's not my power source, cables or guitars.

You deserve better, Rob! Life is too short to mess around with fizzy amps.

I'm kinda thinking that I'll just stick with my Blues Deluxe and Deluxe Reverb for band gigs, use the Peavey Studio Pro for the jazz trio/ smaller gigs. I'm storing the heavier equipment in my garage now so that I don't have to carry it all up and down the stairs.
I'm just getting tired of lugging the crap around. Probably wouldn't be bad if the PA wasn't mine but I use it for many different types of gigs (band, jazz trio, acoustic duo etc), I have to keep it here at home.

I just got a Roland Blues Cube. I don't care what people say about solid state, it sounds and responds just like a tube amp, it's got that warmth and brightness, rich depth and smooth point of break up. It's got that sag and also takes a couple of seconds to kick into life when you power it up. It does everything a blues junior does with more volume and you can plug headphones or line out for recording

Although I've never tried one, I think the Blues Cube is a different beast than the standard Cube in that it has a clean and drive channel with sound modules whereas the standard Cube is a modelling amp. I've heard great things about both but I can't believe I got two with the same problem.
