Dobro Solid Body Guitar. Need help with its history

I bought this on Ebay about a week ago. I have never seen a solid body Dobro before.
The seller said it was made by a Gibson employee for a Namm show some years ago.
If anybody knows about this or any solid body Dobro please respond. Thanks

not sure what you have found out about your guitar. these were made in the late 70's
by Dobro -not gibson. there was a maple a walnut and cinnimon wood models were offered. Idon't think too many were produced.. and not for long either.
I worked at a store that sold about three of them and bought one myself.. what did you pay for yours? new list was about 1200.00 dealer net about 600.00
