Jr. Lite pickups

Has anyone bought one of the LP Jr. Lites. I got one to add to my arsenal. I hated the sound of the bridge P100 pickup. The high end of the bridge pickup sounded like icepicks going through my head. Before I went and bought new pickups I changed the voulme pot from 500k to 250k. Wow, what a difference that made in the sound. I left the neck pickup alone to keep the balance just right. Now when I go to the neck PU it does't sound muddy and the bridge PU sounds great. It cuts through nice without being muddy or to high ended.
