If anyone on this board has used Lindy Fralin P90s in a Les Paul Special, SG Classic or similar (solid mahogany body), I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks!

I have a set in a LP Special and have had them in another. They're awesome. Clearer, more articulate than Gibson's. Distortion is better too...more harmonics.
The set I have is the bridge pickup wound "stock" like vintage Gibsons and the neck pickup under-wound by 10%. Gives the neck tone a little glassiness.
I think next time I would get the bridge pickup over wound by a little...maybe 5%.
Great pickups.

I found a Fralin P90 set that was -5% neck / +10% bridge. Gutsiest P90s I've ever heard! I'm very happy with this pickup set. They still have all the sparkle and chime you want from P90s, but when run through high gain settings they don't get shrill.
