I have a Sheraton II from around '90. White with all the trim. I had the original humbuckers for a good while than switched them for SD Jazz and JB. They sound great but maybe need to be in a solidbody. At the moment I am considering some kind of HB sized P-90 style for replacement. Killer guitar, great action and sound.

I'd agree about the PUPs; great for a soldibody for sure!
Like I've posted before (and I don't sell or have any interest in them financially), consider the Kent Armstrong P90s. There was a thread recently about the pole to string spacing, but I've heard them in a full sized archtop and they were really versatile. $65 a piece I think.

... ALMOST...
Old early '90's MIK Sheraton with S-D JB in the bridge, but a Pearly Gates in the neck. I also put in a push/pull coil-shunt, couldn't live without it. Love the pups - that JB is THE ONE in the bridge, for my ears...but consider my handle!
Oh yeah, mine's ebony instead of white, and I swapped out ALL the gold stuff for chrome...
Hey, is the neck profile on yours very thin and FLAT?

One of my favorite necks, lots of fun to play. I'm not terribly into looks but the inlays are fantastic. The white paint is yellowing somewhat and it has a real classic look.

Got me a Sheraton II yesterday. Great guitar, needs a little fretdressing and fine tuning, but now something else... I took out the epi pups and replaced them for Gibsons classic '57's, know what..the guitar was dead quiet before but now its a lot more noisy, anyone had this problem before?

only thing I did was replace the tuners with Grover LOcking tunbers...otherwise it's a rocker stock...even the pups are good enuff fer the bluez...my main Ax for blues in Gibbys is a 345 and that's as good as it can ever get...but the Sheraton is no slouch considering it's about $3000.oo cheaper.......later don
