Can anyone tell me about this Jr?

I think the pots date to 1980. I can't find any documentation that says Gibson manufactured any Jrs that year. I have seen the mid 80's junior with the tune-o-matic bridge but this one is different. It's definitely an awesome guitar.

what is your history with the guitar? you sure its not a real 58?
i seen two 59's serial 9 0907 and 9 9014
i'm not sure how gibson cataloged the serial #'s.

I don't think '50s Jrs. had bound fingerboards.........could be wrong,maybe some did,but I've never seen one.
