I have an LP Jr. Special with P-100s. I really like this guitar, but I miss the lack of bass response. What are the best replacements to get the bark of the P-100s, but get a better bass response too?

Ya may need to go to regular P-90s &
forget about cancling 60 cycle hum..
IMHO there is not a single hum free design on todays market that behaves like a real P-90.
my favs are Gibsons Super Vintage

Thanks Buck,
I've been wanting to put real P-90s in that guitar for a long time. Other things keep coming up. Hum doesn't bother me too much -- I also have a telecaster.

Joe Bob,
I've got Seymour Duncan Vintage P-90's in my LP Special; I didn't care for the P-100's either.
The Vintage P-90's sound wonderful and ewll behaved at low volumes and of course, totally nasty at higher volume! There's no other p/u capable of getting such a tastefully raunchy tone as P-90's! Good luck.
Respectfully,
Eggman

I'm with that!
Hey Eggman, it looks like we've got this whole place to ourselves!
