My Epiphone Telecaster

Hi guys, new here. During Epiphone's fender craze I got this in 97 new. It's a T-310 model and now loaded with GFS Lil Puncher Modern Vintage pups and 1 meg no load pots. Sounded pretty much like Jimmy Page's tele in the early zep years.

Thanks and it sounds ok but I made it better by gluing the neck on. Had to because I dropped the guitar and it cracked along two screws on the bass side.

I'm curious though, why would a laminated body, scarf jointed neck guitar have a fancy neck place like this?
