Black P90 covers

In looking at some Casinos I noticed that some of the P90's had black, some silver/chrome. Why would that be?

All that I've ever seen were chrome. But, if you are really seeing a 339, those would be black.

Early Ones had Black.

Earliest Casinos had black plastic covers but sometime in the 60's they went for chromed metal and have been ever since - better shielding probably.

A prior owner put black covers on mine. In addition to a few other mods.
