Made in Taiwan Epi Gibson

Hello,
Looking for information on the Epiphone by Gibson that were Made in Taiwan Republic of China. Serial # on sticker in neck plate 8711099.
I am cleaning up an Ebay guitar, Stratocaster style with an Explorer headstock shape. Can not find any info yet on the web. Not many marks on guitar found. Can add the info if needed to help ID this model.

Hi and welcome to Gibson Talk. I believe the model that you have is the S-310B. The Epiphone Wiki was a great source for Epi information but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Google the model to see what you can find. Good luck.

Yes that is the model that matches. The headstock shape has been called the banana. The logo on the head is "Epiphone by Gibson". Might be an early one produced. Fret board is rosewood too and six screw bridge/tremolo. Half of the tuners have a small number 5 or 6 that is in the casting on the back and it imprinted in the back of the neck location.
Any body have the Taiwan info?
