Lookin' great guys! I really don't know why I've never sprung for one of those beauties.

Socks!

Have an Epi for over 10 years now. Korean, well made and with the "longer" neck joint that I like. Replaced the original overwound pickups and it's been a good servant. Like the modern Epi's, it has a "soundpost" beneath the bridge that I guess helps with feedback suppression.
But I remember my old ones - and the Gibson 330, had nothing and you could actually see the top vibrating. Remedy then was to stuff them and blank off the F-holes. I filled mine full of old socks - not so good when hot though!!!

Probably would have been better if you would have washed the socks first!

So, I changed the pick guard on my Casino, I like it better than the plain white one, any opinions?

I want to do the same on my vintage sunburst, with black P90 covers and an Epiphone Frequensator tailpiece

Here’s mine. I bought it so I wouldn’t have to gig with my 58-year-old ES-125 anymore (which is a huge sounding guitar). Being the way I am, after two months I decided it wasn’t quite right and replaced everything on it - tuners, nut, pickups, bridge, pots, switch, jack. The stock pickups were too hot and I like the look of black plastic covers better, so I put Fralins in there. Now the tone is right. Not quite equal to the 125, but close enough.

I like the look of the tortoise guard above - if I can find the right one, I may do that, too, but right now I like it without.
