What is this thing?

Seems to sort of be an Epiphone of some type...but the work seems so sloppy that its hard to tell. Lots of crooked stuff, and no serial number I can see...

Any help appreciated.

Welcome to Gibson Talk. I have to agree with Biddlin. That looks like a very cheap Japanese LP imitation...probably from the 60's

Yup. That is poor imitation, or just a wild build. I have never seen one like that before.

It's a Guitar.



Most likely a Late 60's early 70's what became known as the "Law Suit" guitars out of Japan.
