Lovely guitar. I have a vintage cherry 339, I really like that colour

Thats gorgeous! Whats the difference between a 339 and a 349? Ebony fingerboard, and fancier trim?

The inlays on the fingerboard are block where mine are dots, my metalwork is chrome as opposed to gold and the headstock logo on mine is mother of pearl not gold. I don't know if there are any differences in the pups, does this have split coils?. Still a great looking guitar.

A ES-349 is a downsized ES-345. No stereo or Varitone wiring, though. But neither do the new ES-345s have that wiring, unless it's a historic model. They share the same ceramic tipped TOM bridge, and the parallelogram neck inlays.
