Paul, I don't doubt what you are saying. THe problem hasn't cropped back up.
I suppose that running my anti-virus and spyware program cleared the thing.
IT was odd that it would occur only on this site, but quell coincidence, eh?
S. Rock, yes, I did that. THe windows were piling up so fast and for so long that the 'Close' function had no effect. I simply had to reboot the computer to break the 'chain'.

you're welcome, Wally. I'm having trouble with this computer, too. I can post just so many post and it's like it just "balls" up. so, I log off and play a computer game and then I log back on. I need a new computer, but other things come first.
