Worth the $50? Assuming it's legit? Bought it at a thrift shop.

Sorry bud, it's a Chibson. First of all, the SN is all wrong. Thats like an Epiphone SN. The truss rod cover is single ply when it should be multi-ply. The 1st fret inlay should be centered between the fret and the nut. In fact, none of the inlays are centered between the frets. The logo looks offset toward the treble side. The bridge looks like it's missing the 2 pearl dots and finally, the headstock shape is wrong where it necks down to the nut (too long). But then again, you only paid $50 so if it plays okay, you got yourself a good campfire guitar! Once the neck warps or the seams start separating, throw it on the campfire!😃

I think Infant is right. Google Gibson headstocks and look at images. The crown logo is not placed quite right and I think the real Gibson headstock has more pointed horns. The logo also looks smaller than the real one.

Hey, thanks for the info! Still thrilled as to a novice player like me, it sounds phenomenal and the best part is it's a lefty! Figure the case alone is worth $50.

Appreciate the response infant!
