Howdy Hi

Hey Gibson Talkers, hows it going. I've found and joined this fine forum to expand my knowledge about the Gibson. I grew up playing Fender basses and strat copy guitars, now I'm branching out. Picked up a nice Epiphone LP from one bandmate, and now I have a husk 1997 LP Studio Doublecut to refinish and rebuild, hoping to find some advice and knowledge on that.

I see the hollowbody forum, and the 'other solidbody' .. Nitpicking for a joke, but where does the semi-hollow DC fit in!

Welcome to Gibson-Talk, Rick! Well I guess the semi-hollow fits in both and neither, y'know.
Some contend that rock 'n roll is bad for the body & bad for the soul.
Bad for the heart, bad for the mind, bad for the deaf & bad for the blind.
It makes some men crazy and they talk like fools.
Makes some men crazy and they start to drool.
