I bet there will be plenty of players/collectors/Gibson nuts who can afford this, and will buy it. It is unique, and I'd surmise more then half who do acquire this axe will love it, and brag about it; just opining. I don't know the answer to this next question, but a Gibson brother will. Is there a place where the public can view specific Gibson purchases by numbers worldwide?

...wisdom through curiosity

Here is something I modified for fun...an SX Mockingbird with personalized ninja knives for the body. I've reshaped one of them, but it basically looks the same now; Les Trem added! I do dig it...a bit similar in scope...

Gibson keeps all of the current sales figures private. There are dating guides and such for vintage models which tell how many guitars were made of each model. But they are all older vintage guitars.

PS. Fender doesn't release this info either. I doubt any manufacturer does.

Looks to me like they finally found something to do with those old Blues Hawk bodies they couldn't get rid of a few years back. I had one of those and it was useless. I was embarassed to own that thing. It was a very easy guitar to forget.

I saw one at Sam Ash and the guy offered to open the case.

I was like: "Uh, no, I'm OK"

Seen enough. :^(
