New Gibson Cases

I was surprised to see this case come without the USA part of the logo. Is this normal for a Gibson case bought new without a Guitar? Pardon the SG case, I found it relevant considering the LP case was the same description and price. Purchased from Sam Ash

My '06 ES137 Custom came with a black TKL case with only the Gibson name on it. No USA, no Custom Shop logos.

Aren't those cases made in Canada?

I am actually liking it as is. I was just surprised because their stock photos show the Gibson USA logo cases. Maybe because it is sold individually Gibson does it on purpose for the Custom Shop and Memphis owners looking for a replacement case?

Strange because my old Howard Roberts Fusion also had a TKL, brown like the photo but it had Gibson USA on it. My Martin case with the Martin emblem for my D-16 is a TKL as well as the universal Yorkville Les Paul and Yorkville Fender rectangular cases that I bought from Long and Mcquade. I'm wondering if most major brand guitars destined for Canada all come with TKLs? Fenders actually come with G&G hardshell cases.

Sorry, I don't want to hijack your thread here. Did you happen to notice where the case was made? TKLs usually have their name molded into the pull tab on the accessory compartment.

Sam Ash has stock photos showing the familiar Gibson USA logo on them. However mine came without "USA." *Just to clarify, this case is sold and bought standalone and was indeed shipped in a Gibson box and Gibson factory sealed* I am just seeking knowledge. Is it a new thing Gibson is doing on their standalone cases? Did TKL forget to put the USA stamp on? etc etc..

Like I said, my ES137 case just says Gibson on it. I don't know how they determine which cases get the USA, Custom Shop or blank logos.
