Help

Opprotunity to buy 1979 les paul KM:
Asking 2250 out the door— all original
Parts/case

Good condition, sounds great accept below

Defect in wood attached— worth it or not?

Appreciate advice

I saw one in good shape sell for $2600 out here in cali last year. I wouldn't knock too much off for that little bit of finish cracking. They are the last LPs made in Kalamazoo, iirc.

If you want, drop fill some clear nitro on the crack; then sand flat and polish.

Yeah, it looks from here like a surface, finish crack. To determine if it is a crack in the body you would have to pull the pickup surrounds and look in those cavities.
