Major T-storms last night....nonstop lightning and rain. A town about 8 miles south got almost 8 inches of water. Viaducts, parking lots, train tracks....all inundated. We received less up here but still about 5 inches. I always wanted to live on an island...now I do!

Bit cloudy and cooler this morning after what turned out to be a hot afternoon yesterday.

Probably be off line for a few days as traveling down to some rehearsal rooms near the festival site we are playing on Sunday.

I feel sorry for you Dana, even though you're finally on your own little island. Is everyone okay? Any damage to your property?

Very foggy this morning. Expecting more rain and humid conditions today. High 75.
We had some torrential downpours yesterday afternoon here at home. Close to 2" of rain. Yet, where I work (about 12 miles away) not a drop!! Then last night, another 15 minute deluge of heavy rain around 9pm. This is turning out to be quite a washout type of summer here in southern Ontario. At least we don't have to water the lawn. This is especially good because the grass is so long, I cant find my sprinkler head!! 😉 (just kidding)

Currently cloudy and drizzling. Chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon and clearing this evening. High of 75 but still very humid.

I made the mistake of fertilizing my lawn a month ago....now with all this rain, I'm totally regretting it!!! It needs cutting every 4 days at the rate that it's growing and it's now been over a week and a half since I last cut it due to the rain.

Got up to 86F here today. My wife went and fertilized the yard this week, but it's not raining lately so not much is probably gonna happen for awhile.

Although it's pretty cloudy out there right now, it's supposed to get sunny and hit 80 by afternoon. No rain today so I'm taking the sticks out for a round of golf...woohoo!

Mainly sunny today, high 80. Risk of a thunderstorm this afternoon and evening.
Currently sitting on my patio enjoying the sunshine, light breeze and a great cup of coffee.
