Rain today, high 41 (6c).
Special weather statement on the weather websites to expect close to an inch of freezing rain from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. Can someone please tell mother nature that it's spring?

It's been too wet to do much around here. The wife has me finishing indoor remodeling chores, I think it got up to about 48 today.

So we are currently above our high for today but the temps are going to drop to just below the freezing mark this afternoon. Pretty windy out there too. I just checked The Weather Network website and was greeted with the following. The first paragraph is what scares me....especially the word "historic"!
It goes on to say that we can expect an inch or more of ice buildup and with the winds, we will probably see power outages due to broken limbs falling across hydro wires. This ain't gonna be fun. Looks like an acoustic guitar playing day.

Dang! Historic, like in Ice Age? Play safe, Rob.

It's raining here, I'm not surprised.

We just had a short 20 minute power outage. Pissed me off as I was watching SNL and it was just coming up to "Weekend Update", my favorite part of the show. I don't understand the power outage as it was only our neighborhood and all our hydro lines are buried. Therefore, no trees knocked down any lines to cause the outage. Just weird!

Back home from a couple of gigs in Wales. Gorgeous day yesterday, but it's quite cloudy today with periods of rain. Temp is up to 12 and expected to rise through the week

Currently 30 (-1c) but temps rising this afternoon.

Ice pellets and freezing rain continues till afternoon where it will switch to rain...heavy rain...about an inch (25mm) over the rest of the day.
Freezing rain warning and wind warnings still in effect but now they've added a heavy rain warning. Had a few short power outages overnight but I don't think it was from fallen tree limbs.
Looks like I'm staying inside again today and playing my Martin.

Rain today, high 45.
Still under a heavy rainfall warning, rain should end this afternoon. Winds have died down considerably. Wind was so bad yesterday that many residents along the lake front were forced to evacuate when waves breached the breakwall. I live about a 1/2 mile from the lake but drive by the affected area to get on the highway in the morning. These photos were taken in the same neighbourhood. Wild and wacky spring weather!
