Well, keep trying to find the right balance, Rob! That's not an easy chore.

Well Stan, the bass player, keyboard player and I spoke with the guys from our regular band and explained that we should pursue some of these "Legion" gigs. We currently are not playing a lot and we wouldn't mind playing a bit more, just to keep the "chops". I told them to look at these gigs as paid rehearsals and we'll try to get a gig every 4 to 6 weeks. We got everyone on board

The club that we played for last week (with the band I just left) absolutely loved us. So the 3 of us explained to them that we played in another band and would like to get into the band rotation at the club. So we got some contacts and will be contacting them this week.

As for the band that we left, they have a gig tonight with a new keyboard player and bass player...no lead guitar. It's one of those gigs he booked without asking us first and it was also the 3rd one this month. We all had other plans for tonight. If it was in May, we probably would have helped him out. So now he has no one The only singers are the new bass player and the rhythm guitar player. The keyboard player for this gig is also new as the original keyboard player is recovering from some serious surgery (which is also the reason why my keyboard player had been playing with us). I have no idea how it's going to sound but I can guarantee that it will be nowhere near as tight as last week

Well, it sounds like you're pursuing the right course, brother! Keep on truckin', and let the rocks roll.
