I put a 3-ply pickguard on my 2009 LP Jr. and replaced the P-90 with the Lindy Fralin "standard wind" P-90. A also replaced the bridge an aluminum Tone-Pros wrap-around with adjustable saddles from the Stew Mac catalog. I had my guitar tech smooth the fret ends. Also bought a TDK hardshell case. Sounds like a lot, but this is now my #1 guitar (over LP Standard and Relic'd Telecaster)

Love it - picking up the same model on Friday.

Have to say that this guitar was a true surprised and has truly made me a fan of the jr.
Currently the Jr is my favorite guitar (although I haven't played mine at home yet - only at the shop). Love it more than my SG and Strat (US version).

It's just plain rock and roll.

On second thought, something does not seem right with that one. you should send it to me to evaluate. I will get it back to you in a year or so, unless I forget . . . .

Congrats on a good looking Jr. I was looking at one of those myself but then MF gave me a great deal on a 2009 Nighthawk and I took it.

I still want to try one of those Jr's out some day.
