Well I have spent several evenings flailing away on the slightly reshaped neck on my Faded SG and I'm really starting to like it. It is already much comfortable to me that it ever was before. I'm not saying I won't take the file to it again sometime in the future and reduce it some more, but for now I'm a happy SG player!

Do not have one yet, as I'm getting back into gitarin' after a 27 year lay-off. My only SG was used, then traded, (for a Strat), waaay back in 1971. Many more purchase options now with the Internet. So hunting carefully. Mr. Polfuss hated the design, but think its the best looking guitar design available. cheers.

I love the neck on the 61' reissue that I have. Its a bit different from the modern shape on the 61s. Its not a whole lot different, but man does it feel good. Very wide and pretty thin. Fits me like a glove! It is trying it's best to take the #1 slot from my Les Paul...

Nice! Wide and thin would suit me fine. Thanks for the photo.

That's gorgeous! I love the gold with the mother of toilet seat pickguard.
