Guitar strap that came with Flying V

Hi folks,

My new Gibson Flying V guitar came with a nice leather strap. How do I install this to have it secure so that it does not come off. I don't want to destroy my brand new guitar!

I use these. They work great and are better than strap locks imo as they do not require mods to your guitars

I bought a Loxx kit so I guess that I need to use the Gibson toolkit to unscrew the default Gibson strap lock and install the new ones, right?

No they give you some screws and bolts and a tool to hook them into the guitar and strap.

I figured it out had to use the tool that came with the guitar. Was kinda a pain to get the Loxx put in the strap but no bigger. Works great now and so easy to put on/take off. The default leather strap supplied sucks.

I'm glad you got it figured out!

Thanks! Yeah, it is very good to have one as playing standing up is the most fun way to play the Flying V guitar. It is a pain sitting down and playing it.
