Gibson SG 1970s Tribute black satin touch up ??

Has anyone had any success touching up Gibsons Satin finishes? I was told Gibson did not spray a clear coat on these Tribute models.

No, they didn't spray on any clear coats on those. That was one of the policies in making them less expensive. But they are also supposed to look well used! If you want a diva guitar, buy one and don't play it.
