Other Guitars Got a Tokai or Agile? Some other LP or ES Copy? What to discuss Strats and Teles? It doesn't have to resemble a Gibson to be discussed, but if it does that's even better.

HNGD! x 2 HSB and Tribal Green LP **warning lots of pics**

Was really amazed at the build quality. Really, really nice. Everything I'd read about them is true. Plugged em in and tested everything and there's no problems, intonation is even really close to being spot on. Tomorrow they'll get the setup treatment, new strings, straplocks, etc. But for today I'm just playing them. The pickups are actually a lot better then what I was expecting too, might not have to swap them out. I'll see though how they do at a full volume rehearsal.

Just can't believe how nice they're are considering they're so ridiculously inexpensive.

One problem was there was something rattling around inside the green one, took that control cover off and a little ball of solder fell out. No more rattle, lol. I'm no expert by any means but I don't think it affected anything, it all works just fine.

Very, very cool. Sounds good, plays nicely, the binding and finish work is really, really nice. No complaints at all.

The Ebony board really gives a spanky quality to the sound too, you can hear it unplugged. Dare I say, "Twang?" Lol

Not a photo top, thin veneer

From a distance in normal lighting it's pretty dark, but shine a light on it and the color really pops

I got the chance to play the HB quite a bit last night and I got to say it's a really neat guitar. Really solid and heavy feeling, and gets that big sound and big sustain that the LP's are known for. The fit and finish work is really nice and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. I took some more pics of the HB so you can see it more close up exactly as I received it, I haven't adjusted anything other then to just tune it up and play. I took the pics in natural daylight coming through the window so hopefully it'll show pretty accurately what the color looks like normally and in person.

And this shows you how dark the green one looks in natural light. On one side of it the lights natural on the other side is the indoor lighting.

hope that answers some questions and I'm glad you're digging the guitars too. They're definitely nicer then I was expecting. One of those times where the actual product exceeds your expectations and looks better in person then it does in the pictures on the website.

It plays really smooth and nice, the neck is a little thicker/chunkier then on my Strats, but it's not too bad and I got used to it pretty quickly.

no the cases were extra. But they're really nice and sturdy, plus I felt better about them shipping knowing they were being shipped in the hardcases instead of just in cardboard.

The shipping costs for the two of them was very reasonable too. Everything together though it was still a great deal for two great guitars and two cases.

Those are a great pair of guitars Malikon, the green one has a beautiful top in the photos--they both look very fine. What do you suppose they weigh-are they mahogney like the Gibsons? Be sure to post us some audio from the 2 guitars-I wish we could get a music forum here sometime in the near future......

very nice guitars Malikon, and I would have to agree that Rondo does a good job. I have bought 2 SX SSTs from them and they are good guitars. Prices are good and I keep getting emails with new deals from them.
Enjoy and have fun with the new guitars
