70s Bill Lawrence Super Humbuckers

Wow. I gave my L6-S a workout the other day and don't remember these pickups sounding so good before, especially with a distortion pedal. Nice work Bill!

Has anybody else used these? Thoughts?

I have an L6-S and agree that these are awsome guitars. Those pickups are really nice sounding. The only thing that would have made them better would be a more les paul type neck. That is only my opinion of course. I still like it the way it is. The versatility is really cool. I have at times thought of setting mine up for slide but have not tried that as yet. Has anyone done that?

I agree those are awsome guitars with really cool sounding pickups. I kind of wish the neck was a little wider like a Paul but thats ok. I have thought of setting up for slide but have never done so. Has anyone tried that? I am suprised more people don't use the L6-S.
