I was hoping someone around here might know about something like this. I'm considering selling my gibson lip goldtop(which from what I've seen go for more) but it's mislabeled as sgj. Is this something that's even worth looking at bc anyone could just changed it? Guitar was new from gc, wish I noticed sooner, maybe they could have verified it. Anyways any thoughts on the issue would be great to hear. Thanks and jam on.

If I understand your babble, you've got and LPJ goldtop that has an SGJ trussrod cover. It is worth about $575 in mint condition(including the right trc)w/OEM gig bag, $625 with a hard case. The guy asking $950 has been sitting on his for half a year with no offers.
