I have a older Gibson Epiphone that had the serial number sticker fall off and I can't identify the year for selling it. Can anyone help? Is there another spot where the serial number could be located?

It would be best to post pictures of the guitar. Headstock front and back, body etc..

I’m no expert but that’s what I believe to be an S300 probably Korean. Late 80s early 90s.
Do a search on the S300.

It looks to be a Epiphone S-310.
Most liklet built by Samick in the 1990's.

Heres what it would have looked like. If it had been "De-Epiphoned" by removing the Epiphone labels, then they may have replaced the neck plate, whick say Epiphone, and had the serial number on it.

Agree, I had one with nasty fret work but liked it otherwise.

Have you tried contacting Epiphone? They may be able to help.
