Trying out top wrapping the tailpiece and after burning 4 low e and 1 a string I finally figured out the “knot lock”. She feels buttery and notes ring out nicely. Anyone have the action heights and pickup heights as a reference?

I top wrap. References no. Slam the tail piece to the body and lower the bridge until the strings almost want to buzz. As far as pups go, balance the volume between the high and low Es and balance the volume between pups. That’s how I do it.

Next time cut the balls off your old set of strings (lol) and run every string through one. This will stop the string wraps at the tail price from being sharp.
